As we approach the holy days of GREAT LENT, all of us are asked to participate to receive His Blessings in anticipation of His Coming Resurrection. Our Youth, in particular, have a major role in the many services in the days to come.  All of us, at every age, have a role.

Monday February 23, 2026 - Clean Monday
Beginning Friday February 27th 2026
All the youth of our Community (Altar Boys and Girls 4th grade and up) are invited to participate in the services on Friday nights of the Holy Salutations – services begin at 6:30 pm, we ask for our young people to be at Church at 6:00pm**.  The first 4 Fridays involve a portion of the Akathist Hymn. the 5th Friday the entire Akathist Hymn is sung. In addition to processional participation, our Girls will chant the Prayer to the Virgin Mary. Boys will recite the Prayer to our Lord. Prayers are found below.

March 1, 2026 is the Sunday of Orthodoxy

Beginning Sunday April 5th 2026 (Palm Sunday Evening) HOLY WEEK

All the youth of our Community (Altar Boys and Girls 2nd grade and up) are invited to participate in the services of Holy Week. Girls will be asked to hold candles for the first 4 services of Holy Week. Services begin at 6:30pm, we ask for our young people to be at Church at 6:00pm.
