ST. JOHN CHRYSOSTOM ORATORICAL SIGHTS & SOUNDS YOUTH FESTIVAL     Contact: Antigone Campobasso or Fr. Tom at 708-974-3400     Participation open to: Pre-Kindergarten through 12th Grade.     Next Festival Date:  November 2015.    Purpose: Allows young people to express their faith, talents and God-given gifts through speeches, essays, poetry and iconography as well as drama, music through instruments and singing, art, photography and craftwork.

GREEK FOLK DANCE INSTRUCTION     Contact:   Fr. Tom at 708-974-3400     Participation open to:  All youth of our Parish.   Purpose: To promote and teach cultural awareness through Greek folk dancing.

THE ANNUAL GREEK FESTIVAL – GREEK FEST OF PALOS HILLS      Contact:  Mark Dinos, George Georgacopoulos or Jim Stavrou 708-974-3400.     Participation open to:  All parishioners.     Meetings are held:  Beginning in the Spring as deemed necessary.     Purpose:  Sponsored by the Parish Council, the annual Greek Festival is the Church’s major fund raiser. Bringing the community together to help raise funds to sustain the fiscal needs of the parish and to introduce the surrounding neighborhood community to Sts. Constantine and Helen Church are the main objectives.    Activities:  The Greek Festival offers the community delicious Greek foods and pastries, Church tours, a drawing with great prizes, an “Agora” to purchase merchandise, Greek music and dancing, plus amusement rides and games. The entire parish community is relied on heavily to prepare, work and participate in the festival activities. The fellowship and resulting friendships are a wonderful extra benefit of working on this good cause
